Ray Hunt Horsemanship and Colt-Starting Clinic

I always said if Ray ever came to SW PA... and so he is. Three days of colt-starting and horsemanship classes with a man whose work and skills I have admired for many years. Clinic is filled but you can still get yourself on a waiting list.

"Beginning Ranch Roping" Clinic- Inexperienced ropers welcome. Come learn the vaquero traditions of the long rope and quiet, humane cattle work. See below. See below.
"Intermediate Ranch Roping Clinic" with Bob Sagely

Designed to build on the skills learned in the "Beginning Ranch Roping" Clinic. We will heel rope live cattle using breakaway hondas and those that are ready will head rope and track cattle with the breakaway. Must have completed the beginner clinic or get express permission from Bob due to previous roping experience.

I'll be there to sell saddles and gear and defend my last year's buckle win.

June 16th - 18th 

I'll have a load of gear to sell and a new saddle to rope from. Will be defending my buckle winning streak and try to stretch it to three in a row.

3rd Annual PNHA Horseman's Gathering - Natural horsemanship get-together allowing participant's to showcase their horse and horsemanship in a low key, supportive and educational setting. Ridin' good horses and eatin' good food - what more do you want? October 1, 2006

It was a good'un... and it didn't rain!

"Beginning Ranch Roping" Clinic- Inexperienced ropers, folks who want to learn how to get their horses started on roping or those folks with experience roping who want to learn how to throw lots of different fancy loops with the long rope are welcome. Come learn the vaquero traditions of the reata style of roping and quiet, humane cattle working. Train yourself and learn how to train your horse to do authentic cow work. There will not be live cattle at this clinic as it is an introduction to ranch roping and we'll have plenty to do for about six hours without them. Saturday, October 28th Sponsored by the SWPNHA and Patrick King Colt Starting and Horsemanship Clinics. $85.00/person ($75.00 for PNHA members). Will be held at Hidden Meadows Farm near Apollo, PA.
