The Fashionable Buckaroo

by R. J. Sagely

You don't have to be a "shadow rider" to just plain want to represent yourself well. The old time vaqueros dressed their outfit up in as much silver and shine as they could afford and it is said they did so to show the pride they had in their horse's "finish". Another way of showing that pride was to take a good amount of care in their own personal gear and clothing. Pictured below are several ways to put some pride in your finish. I apologize to the original artists of these works. I found them on net some years ago and have lost the website. You can see their marks on each of the pieces so if someone out there knows who did these riginally and wants to let me know, I could seek proper permission for their use. Until then I will share them with the visitors to my website.

After viewing these options you can check out our scarf slides at the following link.
