Tree is a semi-quarter horse bar from Bowden's set to 92 degree angle, approximately 6 1/4" wide before the saddle construction. 15 1/2" roughout finish seat with a 1 1/2" dish that sports a 4 1/2" high x 13" wide cantle with 1 1/2" Cheyenne roll. Very large Guadalajara style domed horn cap (5 1/2" long x 5" wide) tops a 4" wide (mulehide wrapped) x 4" tall wood post. Rigging is a 7/8 position 5054 plate style double rigged with riveted 3" rear dees. Ultra small round skirt keeps the overall weight down but this is a working rig built for roping and long days in the saddle. Rigging plate, fenders, fold-over flank billets, cantle back and back jockeys have the "crazy leg" stamp pattern with single bead outline. Fenders are lined to keep the sweat out and the 3" full leathers hang a pair of 5" tread brass bound and leather lined bell stirrups already set with a Nevada twist (easy on the knees and ankles) and adjusted with vertical post Bar H stainless steel quick change buckles. Oregon style rope strap, half-breed off billet, front cincha keeper on the off side and latigo keeper on the near to hold any extra length from the 7 foot latigo out of your way. Leather conchas with extra long back button strings for your slicker. Brass breastcollar dees mounted on the front buttons. Call or email today to find out current cost to have one made for you. | ![]() |
