SAGE SADDLERY

"For a saddle your great-grandkids will still be riding"

This is a 15 1/2" finish seat in the traditional stock saddle brown (no it is not black, just very, very dark brown). Built on a semi_quarter horse Hercules Company tree, the horn is latigo wrapped, leather bound, Guadalajara style with a 4" wide x 5" long, domed cap. Tri-corner basket weave with floral accents on the seat and fenders and double beaded, meander stamped borders decorate this one. The saddle is not a hardcore working hand's rig. It is a double rigged saddle with a three-way, brass, flat plate rigging allowing full, 7/8 and 3/4 cincha placement. Rear cinch ring is mounted separate from the front plate and directly to the bars of the tree. Deep seat with a 5" high Cheyenne roll cantle. This one sports a pair of 5" tread, leather covered stirrups. Brass 1" dee breastcollar rings, lined stirrup fenders to keep the sweat out, double latigos with carriers and cincha hanger (below cantle on the offside), an Oregon crossover rope strap, six button seat with brass conchas, buckaroo twist, full stirrup leathers, Blevins vertical post quick-change buckles, and deep pile, genuine shearling lines the small, round skirts. Matching martingale style breastcollar with brass spots on arms and 5" brass heart in the breastplate and tri-corner weave stamped extra wide roping flank cinch complete the outfit. Details of the floral accents on the seat and fender. The solid brass, three-way rigging plate that allows the saddle to be rigged up at full, 7/8 or 3/4 double rigging. Saddle now has brass conchas and a leather covered hobble ring.
